Musical Theatre Dance: Bring your comfortble shoes and clothes and get ready to MOVE! Miss Jenny is an accomplished performer and teacher and she will have you jumping around in no time! YOU NEED: Comfortable clothes to move in.

Everything’s A Puppet: The possibilities are endless when you have a puppet friend! Imagine being able to talk and interact with something that’s on your hand.  You will have your family laughing and cheering you on in no time in this learn how to puppeteer class! In this beginners level class you will learn the basics of puppetry. Counting syllables, singing songs and making your puppet come to life. YOU NEED: Your imagination and something to use as your puppet. Paper bags, googly eyes, a sock or a simple puppet will do.   Please also have a couple of your favorite jokes ready on hand to practice with!

Speak Up: How do we bring words on a page to LIFE on the stage? Miss Aleks will support you in bold choice making while working on monologues. After a brief physical and vocal warm up, Miss Aleks will gently coach each participant in the presentation of prepared text. Using fun and whacky techniques to bring the monologue to life, each student will leave the session feeling more confident. YOU NEED: Please prepare a 1-2 minute age appropriate monologue.  You can find these online, you can WRITE YOUR OWN, or you can choose from the selection we have provided BELOW!  A quiet space with a little room to move.  An item you think your character would have.  An open mind.  All levels of experience welcomed.

Character Scavenger Hunt: Using simple items that can be found around the house, Miss Sabrina will help students craft unique characters and scenes. A list of items to “scavenge” will be sent out one hour prior to the start of class. All ages welcome!

Theatre Meets Hip Hop:  We will learn choreography that fuses theatre jazz and hip hop choreography together, especially as this style is growing in popularity with new and contemporary musicals. YOU NEED: comfortable/possibly looser dance clothing and sneakers.
