“Is my audition book any good?” This class will focus on what you can bring in to set yourself up for audition success! Students will bring in their books, prepared with two contrasting songs, and then discuss how to make those selections even stronger!
AUDITION PREP
April 17 6-730pm ($15)
Have you ever walked into an audition room and wondered “what do they want from me?” Now you can know! This class is a behind-the-scenes look at how to attack the audition process, plus tips for putting together your BEST audition and a practice audition.
MUSICAL THEATRE MASTER CLASS (3 CLASS SERIES)
May 1, 8, 15 6-8pm
($75 for the 3 class series)
Students in this small group series will get first hand experience preparing and performing musical theatre songs and scenes. Structured like a conservatory musical theatre course, this series promotes learning from in-class work, at-home preparation, and watching the work of others in a focused setting. Ideal for recent college graduates or those wishing they could get back into the swing of a fast-paced learning environment that prepares them for auditions and rehearsals alike.
An accompanist will be provided for all in-class vocal work.
Open to students ages 18 and up.
